New year resolutions are generally not my thing. However, this year comes with a twist as i will not be casting a spell on a magic wand to fly off to oblivion in a bid to make my wishes come true; rather, i plan to up my style game and stick with it.
Basically, i have come to a careful conclusion of rocking Ankara outfits to work on proper work days and deviating from the regular ''Friday Ankara wear'' ritual. It is quite amusing that i regard this personally as a way of contributing to societal values.
Therefore, African Prints should not only be shoved down the throat of parties and family gatherings, but also worn in a proper work environment. This wardrobe choice has been made easy with the new range of shift dresses created by Design for Love tagged ''The New Ease''. Monday Motivation

Tuesday 'TwosDay'
Since Tuesday is the second day of work and falls in the category of 'busy and relaxed', I have chosen a two piece outfit for a change of look. The Brown Ankara Pant with Belt coupled with the Ankara Brown Mono Lace Top are made from the same materials but can be worn separately. However, i am pairing them together because i want an 'all Ankara' chic outfit. The belt included in the pant just gives me a hearty happy dance.
'Way to Go' Wednesday
Wednesdays are relaxed days. Its the middle of the week and i'd love to be as casual as i hope to be in my Organza Pocket Shift Dress. Not wanting to cringe in heels, its best to rock this outfit wearing flats
Trendy Thursday
On my Trendy Thursday, I am looking forward to the weekend and looking as simple and casual as ever in the Ankara Shaggy Bib Dress. The Shaggy Bib design on this dress resonates a trend and a tiny bit of drama and of course, comfort. Can be paired with heels or flats as the mood leads..
T.G.I.F (Thank God its Friday)
